Salix babylonica is a medium- to large-sized deciduous tree, growing up to 20–25 m (66–82 ft) tall. It grows very rapidly. The shoots are yellowish-brown, with small buds. The leaves are alternate and spirally arranged, narrow, light green, 4–16 cm long and 0.5–2 cm broad, with finely serrate margins and long acuminate tips; they turn a gold-yellow in autumn. The flowers are arranged in catkins produced early in the spring; it is dioecious, with the male and female catkins on separate trees.

Root them in water and plant.

Plant them straight in soil and keep well watered and it will root and start growing in one or two weeks.

Very important to keep the cuttings with buds facing upwards or they won`t grow.

Your weeping willow cuttings are smaller and thinner than other willow cuttings.

Remember to put them the right way up, if you are not sure about what way is up please contact me

as putting them the wrong way will only stop them from growing and thye will die.

Leave them in water covering them half way and refill if needed.

As soon as you see white spots or tiny roots forming its time to plant them.

Keep well watered after and make sure they get a lot of sun.

They should grow very well and replant or plant out as soon as there is a lot of roots.
