These seeds produce beautiful pink and purple colourful flowers and large pods that are fantastic for floral displays, gardens and flower arranging.
They are easy to grow from seed and can be sown from early spring onwards.
These poppy seeds are well suited to the British climate and will grow easily and readily in all parts of the UK.
They can be sown straight into the ground or they can be started earlier in the year in pots indoors to give them a head start. Once planted these will return year on year.
A mixture of compost, perlite and sand or any free-draining soil mixture is best for poppies to really get them going.
So long as you keep them warm, watered and with good sunlight they are easy to grow and require no skills or specialist care. Outdoors they can essentially be left to their own devices until finished.
